Privacy Policy
In short: we don't collect your data. What you put in Olivenlock is encrypted on your device and never sent to us or anyone else.
What you store in the app
Photos, files and notes you add to Olivenlock are encrypted on your device with a key protected by your passcode. They are stored only on that device (or, for the web version, in your browser's storage). We have no servers that receive them and no way to read them.
Your passcode
Your passcode is never stored or transmitted. We cannot see it, recover it or reset it.
Purchases
Pro purchases are handled by Apple's App Store or Google Play under their own privacy policies. The app asks the store whether your account has an active Pro purchase. We don't receive your name, email address or payment details.
Analytics, ads and tracking
The app contains no analytics, advertising or tracking code. This website doesn't use cookies or analytics.
Permissions
The app asks for camera and photo library access only when you choose to take or import a photo. Those photos go straight into your encrypted vault.
Children
Olivenlock doesn't knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the effective date above.
